For specific aspects of the terminal and logistics process, customers can always count on additional, tailor-made services at ECT.

At all of ECT’s deep-sea terminals, Delta Reefer Care offers an extensive range of services aimed at reefer containers. The core business of the company is connecting reefer containers arriving at the terminal to the power supply in the stack. Delta Reefer Care next monitors the status of the container 24/7. Should any irregularities occur, then the engineers immediately spring into action and also carry out repairs. Delta Reefer Care is a joint venture of ECT and reefer maintenance specialist Smith Holland.

Maasvlakte Transport specialises in road transport of containers at the Maasvlakte area and its immediate vicinity. With the major container terminals as its points of origin and arrival, Maasvlakte Transport offers three main services around the clock:
At all three of the deep-sea terminals in Rotterdam, ECT’s Special Cargo division sees to it that non-containerised cargo travelling aboard container ships, such as yachts, helicopters, steel constructions, tanks, etc, is handled safely and professionally. No object is too big or heavy for the Special Cargo division. If necessary, floating cranes offer additional support.
The company EcO2 offers state-of-the-art facilities for the fast, efficient and especially environmentally friendly gassing and degassing of containers. The Rotterdam EcO2 Service Terminal - REST for short - has twelve airtight treatment rooms big enough to accommodate 40-foot containers. Operations always continue here, regardless of the weather. With that, using the services of REST is not just good for the environment, but also guarantees reliable turnaround times.
