ECT.nl e-services 


Which e-services offers ECT.nl?

ECT offers various e-services, like order, report and tracking & tracing e-services for different modalities. Examples of e-services are ‘Release Order’, ‘24 Hours Reports’ and ‘Container and Object Status’. You can see a total overview of e-services in menu ‘E-Services’ > ‘Overview E-Services’. The use of e-services is free of charge.

Where can I see if a container is released?

The release status of a container is information that is only available with an ECT.nl account. On public you only see if a container is arrived, expected or departed. You find the e-service ‘Container Status’ under menu ‘Tracing’ at the homepage of ECT.nl or in menu ‘Tracking & Tracing’ after logging in at ECT.nl.

Container and ship operators have the possibility, if they are registered to ECT.nl, to apply for authorisation on Tracking & Tracing e-service ‘Container Status’. With this service you can see information about all container details, like release information, holds, documentation and arrival/departure information.

Other customers, like trucking companies, can apply for authorisation for e-service ‘Container Status Inland Carrier’. With this service you can see more details of the container if you filled in the right combination of fields. For import that is container prefix/number and release number, for export container prefix/number and bookingsnumber.


Where can I see if a vessel is expected, arrived or departed?

You can see all expected, arrived and departed vessels at the ECT terminals with e-service ‘Object Status’ under menu ‘Tracing’ at the homepage of ECT.nl or in menu ‘Tracking & Tracing’ after logging in at ECT.nl. By clicking at a vessel you see all public information, like expected time of arrival (ETA), voyagenumbers and ECT terminal id.

To see also the expected discharge/load container moves and the progress of discharging and loading you have to apply for authorisation for Tracking & tracing e-service ‘Object Status’.
This service is only available for container and ship operators if they are registered to ECT.nl. If you also are authorised for reports, the available reports of the vessel will been shown at the vessel details page.

ECT also offers an e-service where you can see a total graphical overview of all vessels at the ECT terminals with status arrived, expected and departed. You can see in time (adjustable) which vessels are arriving and departing. You find this e-service in menu ‘Tracing’ under menu item ‘Terminal Overview’ at the homepage of ECT.nl or in menu ‘Tracking & Tracing’ after logging in at ECT.nl.


Where can I find the Electronic Communication Procedure (ECP) and E-Declaration?

You find the Electronic Communication Procedure (ECP) under menu ‘E-Services’ at the homepage of ECT or at the homepage after logging in at ECT.nl.

How can I request additional e-services?

You can request additional e-services via the Authorisations page after logging in at ECT.nl.
Click in the column 'New Request' on '+Request' for the desired e-service name. This will move your request to the column 'You have requested'.
After the request has been processed and granted by ECT, you will receive a confirmation message via mail.
