For this purpose, ECT operates (or participates in) inland terminals with multimodal facilities (rail, barge) in Venlo (in the southeast of the Netherlands, near the German border), Moerdijk (strategically situated halfway between Rotterdam and Antwerp), Duisburg (Germany) and Willebroek (Belgium).
