ECT uses the following measures when boarding visiting vessels:
- operational employees who work on board of the vessel and who do not come into confined spaces wear their normal protective equipment and - in line with the advice of the Dutch health authorities - no additional means such as surgical masks. They keep the minimum distance of 1.5 meters to each other and to the crew;
- with regard to employees, such as the vessel planner, it will always be checked first whether coordination can take place by telephone or via e-mail. These employees are in possession of surgical masks and will wear them if desired, after consult with representatives of the shipping line. They also keep the minimum distance of 1.5 meters.
