UPDATE week 19
General
Weather conditions
Yesterday, in the early morning and late afternoon, operations on both terminals were hampered for a few hours due to foggy weather conditions. Water- and landside operations could continue, however at a reduced pace.
ECT Delta terminal
Last week:
ECT Delta terminal had a full program with dual deepsea at the DDN and triple/quattro deepsea at the DDE. The container yard occupancy for reefers and dry containers was very high but under control due to additional measures. Service times for barges and feeders were higher than standard.
This and coming week:
ECT Delta terminal will have a full program with mostly dual deepsea at the DDN terminal and triple/quattro deepsea at the DDE terminal. The container yard occupancy for dry containers is high but remains under control. Also this week, a large number of reefers will be discharged. A swift pick-up (preferably outside peak hours) is highly appreciated. Service times for barges and feeders will be higher than standard.
ECT Euromax terminal
Last week:
ECT Euromax terminal had a full program with dual deepsea alongside. The container yard occupancy for dry containers is very high but remains under control. The D-route has been activated at different moments, resulting in longer waiting times for road transport. The D-route has been replaced by the on-site truck buffer. Service times for barges and feeders were higher than standard.
This and coming week:
ECT Euromax terminal will have a full program with dual deepsea alongside until Saturday morning and from Monday afternoon onwards. The container yard occupancy for dry containers and reefers remains high and therefore requires continued attention, in particular for empty equipment. Service times for barges and feeders will be higher than standard.
