Weekly update - week 33

UPDATE: week 33

General

The peak in our holiday season is ongoing for next week. The availability of gangs remains satisfactory, however some pressure is expected in the coming weeks. Furthermore the expected high temperatures later this week, put a strain onto the equipment leading to possible productivity losses.

 ECT Delta terminal

Last week:

ECT Delta terminal had a full program with mostly triple deep-sea at the DDN terminal and  DDE terminal. The container yard occupancy for dry containers and reefers was under control. Service times for barges and feeders were up to standard.

This and coming week

ECT Delta terminal will have a full program with triple and quattro deep-sea vessels at the terminals. The container yard occupancy for dry containers and reefers is under control. However, quick pick-up of import containers, in particular 40 ft is welcome. Service times for barges and feeders are expected to be up to standard.

ECT Euromax terminal

Last week:

ECT Euromax terminal had a stable program with a single and dual deep-sea alongside during the week. The container yard occupancy for dry containers was high but manageable.

This and coming week:

ECT Euromax terminal will have a stable program with dual deep-sea alongside during the week. The container yard occupancy for dry containers remains high. A swift pick-up of import containers (preferably outside peak hours) is also necessary to keep the situation manageable. Service times for barges and feeders are up to standard.
