From 22 November, ECT will make Remote Check In (RCI) via Portbase available to all carriers.
This means that from this date you can drive with a RCI/TAR number and a correct pre-notification directly to the Gate without passing the Do it Yourself Desk (DIYD) in building 5 at the ECT Delta terminal.
RCI must be used at both the ECT Delta terminal and the ECT Euromax terminal.
The moment you have access to the RCI buttons on the Portbase platform and you have received a TAR number on the Portbase platform from ECT, you can immediately use RCI.
When outsourcing a truck ride, you must provide an executing charter on the Portbase platform. ECT checks the EAN number at Security-In.
We also ask you to check your EAN number at Portbase. Is your EAN number at Portbase to pre-announce the container equal to the EAN number on your cargo card(s)?
Finally, remember to enter your ROT (Remain on Truck) container on the Portbase platform, the OCR at the ECT terminals cannot recognize and process the ROT containers automatically at the moment.
