TOS Euromax

Two months ago, we started the migration to the new Terminal Operating System (TOS) at the ECT Euromax terminal. Over the past period, numerous adjustments have been made to the systems to improve stability. We are steadily seeing improvements in the operation.

We are now four weeks into the migration to the new Terminal Operating System (TOS) at the ECT Euromax terminal. We are steadily seeing progress in operations, but unfortunately, we are still dealing with several challenges.

Deepsea and Feeder

For the handling of deepsea vessels, continuous close consultation is taking place with the involved shippinglines. In the meantime, discharge and loading operations have been carried out on both one and two deepsea vessels simultaneously.

We have now been migrating to the new Terminal Operating System (TOS) at the ECT Euromax terminal for almost two weeks, and we are seeing stable progress.

We are confident that the Go-live will continue to proceed, but we will continue to monitor the operation closely. Further information about the migration will be provided through the various communication channels from now on. However, all current information can still be found on our website; our TOS Euromax dossier can be accessed at: https://www.ect.nl/nl/tos-euromax.

Dear relation,

We have now been working on the migration to the new Terminal Operating System (TOS) at the ECT Euromax terminal for almost a week. More detailed information about the progress of this process is provided below.

On Tuesday, January 20th, the operational processes were restarted in phases. As expected, this has resulted in some disruptions. The support teams on hand have been able to resolve these quickly so far. So far, we are satisfied with the progress of the process.

Dear relation,

Based on the current situation, it has been decided to discontinue the D-route with immediate effect. Direct access to the ECT Euromax terminal is possible again as of now.

Following last weekend’s TOS migration and the restart last Tuesday, during which trucks were gradually admitted via the D-route, we have observed that operations are running as expected. For this reason, the regular handling process is once again applicable as of today.

The ECT Euromax terminal will remain open for road transport on the night of Thursday, January 22 to Friday, January 23. The access route via the D-route will remain in place. We expect to scale up to 500 trips per day tomorrow.

Information about the migration can be found on our website, where we have opened a dedicated page at https://www.ect.nl/en/tos-euromax.

This evening, Wednesday 21 January, the ECT Euromax Terminal will close for road transport at 22:00. The terminal will remain closed until tomorrow morning, Thursday 22 January, at 07:15. This temporary closure is necessary to carry out improvements, as previously communicated. The upcoming night shift will be used to implement these adjustments.

The handling of road transport is progressing according to plan, but there are still improvements to be implemented. For the time being, we will maintain the current procedure, in which a limited number of drivers per hour are called up from the D-route.

We will provide an update later this afternoon, in which we will also address whether or not operations will continue during the night.

Information about the migration can be found on our website, where we have opened a dedicated page at https://www.ect.nl/en/tos-euromax.

This evening, Tuesday 20 January at 22:00 hrs, the ECT Euromax Terminal will close for road transport until tomorrow morning, Wednesday 21 January at 07:15 hrs. This morning the terminal, after the weekend closure due to the migration to a new Terminal Operating
System (TOS), reopened again on a very limited basis. Although the go?live is progressing according to plan, there are, as expected, several improvements to be made. The upcoming night shift will be used for this.

As previously announced, the migration from our current Terminal Operating System (TOS) to a new, up‑to‑date TOS started this past weekend at the ECT Euromax terminal. As of tomorrow, Tuesday 20 January at 09:00 hrs, the terminal will reopen for road transport. Please note: we will begin operating via the D‑route and will call up only a very limited number of drivers per hour. During the first days, our target is 100 trips per day.
