UPDATE: week 36
General
The largest national trade union has announced a nationwide labour action in the ports of Rotterdam, Amsterdam, and Zeeland on Friday, 4 September between 11:15 and 19:00 hours. The labour action is not port related but directed at proposals of the national government for budgetary cuts in the social security system. As a result of this action our terminals will be affected with a possible closure between 11:15-19:00 hours, maybe earlier for road transport. Please follow our notifications.
From Saturday the 22nd of August until Sunday the 6th of September, the second batch with new ARMG’s is being discharged at the ECT Euromax terminal. This will have limited impact on the availability of second modality berths. We will keep you updated via the regular communication channels.
ECT Delta terminal
Last week:
ECT Delta terminal had a full program with mostly dual deepsea at the DDN and quattro deepsea at the DDE. The container yard occupancy for dry containers and reefers was under control. Service times for barges and feeders were slightly higher than standard.
This and coming week:
ECT Delta terminal will have a full program with mostly dual deepsea at the DDN terminal and triple/quattro deepsea at the DDE terminal. The container yard occupancy for dry containers and reefers is high and therefore a swift pick-up of import containers (preferably outside peak hours) is necessary. Service times for barges and feeders are expected to be higher than standard.
ECT Euromax terminal
Last week:
ECT Euromax terminal had a relatively quiet program with mostly single deepsea alongside. The container yard occupancy for dry containers and reefers was under control. Service times for barges and feeders were up to standard.
This and coming week:
Also this week, ECT Euromax terminal will have a relatively quiet program with dual deepsea alongside during Wednesday and Thursday and from Saturday evening until next week Wednesday evening. The container yard occupancy for dry containers is under control. However, a swift pick-up of import containers (preferably outside peak hours) is much appreciated. Service times for barges and feeders are expected to be slightly higher than standard.
