Participation in Joint Corridors Off Road Programme
Today is the festive signing of the Rotterdam Corridor and the Limburg Express at the Port of Rotterdam Authority. With this signing, parties officially join the Joint Corridors Off Road program of the ‘Topsector Logistiek’.
New websites Hutchison Ports Venlo and Hutchison Ports Duisburg
The new websites of Hutchison Ports Venlo and Hutchison Ports Duisburg are live! The websites offer background information on the inland terminals, services and links to the train- and barge schedules.
Last month, Hutchison Ports ECT Rotterdam (ECT) and Sany Europe, part of Sany Heavy Industries of Changsha, China, signed a contract for the construction and delivery of three new quay cranes with an option for four more.
ECT and EGS open Hamburg office; Peter Nebel is local representative
At the end of 2021, ECT opened an office in Hamburg. With the opening of the Hamburg office, ECT aims to engage even more in a continuous dialogue with its customers and to participate in its customers' networks.
The new ECT App is now also available in the App Store!
The new ECT App can now also be downloaded in the App Store! Last week, the app was already available on Google Play. The go-live is now complete and the app can be used with all devices (Apple and Android).The new app offers the functionalities you already know, such as news and service notifications. The Traffic Indicator per block group and the Object Status also remain available. New in the app is the Container Status to check whether a container is expected, present or has left at one of the ECT terminals.
The date has been announced! As of November 30, 2021, the new ECT app can be downloaded in the App Store and Google Play store. This new app replaces the existing app.
Martine Hiel (Hutchison Ports Belgium) elected multimodal ambassador 2021
During the 'Baanbrekers' event in Mechelen (Belgium) on November 16th, 2021, Martine Hiel, Managing Director of Hutchison Ports Belgium, received the prestigious award for multimodal ambassador 2021.'Baanbrekers' is an initiative of Multimodaal.Vlaanderen. During this event, the logistics sector of Flanders selects pioneering multimodal projects and the personal honorary title Multimodal Ambassador 2021 is awarded. A number of high-profile people get nominated for this title and the winner is chosen via online voting.

Currently, ECT is in the process of developing a new app. By mid-November 2021, the new app will be available in the App store or Google Play, for iOS and Android.
As of the 1st of November 2021, we will be using a new telephone exchange. The installation of this new telephone exchange has provided us with the opportunity to implement a number of improvements.Said improvements are based on the findings from various surveys conducted among our customers, in which ECT’s accessibility by phone was explicitly mentioned. We have tried to incorporate your suggestions into the improvements to the best of our ability. We hope this will further improve our accessibility and the service provision to our customers.
